Accountability Based Environment
Accountability-based environment focuses on the identity of the individuals (affiants) whose identity has been attested to by an Attestation Officer and has a digital certificate allowing them access to the organization’s network. In addition, accountability-based solutions establish the measurable level of reliability of an affiant’s identity. This becomes the cornerstone of building out an effective accountability-based environment.
Accountability Based Environment is a new approach for organizations that allow access to their networks by outsiders who do not have the organization’s employee ID to back up their identity claims.
