Who is eligible for Membership in the Council of Enrollment Officers?
The Signing Agent designation certifies that in addition to having qualified for a commission as a Notary Public, the Notary has passed an examination demonstrating a superior level of knowledge of the procedures and responsibilities of this important public office. The Signing Agent designation conferred by the following organizations is considered sufficient for qualification as an Enrollment Officer.
Note: Some jurisdictions do not permit the use of the Signing Agent designation. Notaries in those jurisdictions should inquire about substitute requirements.
